Using video to analyze a swing is a different process than watching a program on a VCR. In swing analysis the focus is on quickly identifying key points in the video where the player's position can be identified. We've tuned out playback process specifically for this problem.
To navigate through the swing all you have to do is slide your finger up or down on the swing. To play forward, slide down. To play backwards, slide up. The faster you move your finger the more quickly the video will play. If you need extra slow motion then you can slide two fingers instead of one.
There are two numbers in the lower right corner of the screen that relate to playback: the top number is the sequence number for the image being displayed. The beginning image in the swing will be number zero. This number is useful when you're trying to move in ultra-slow motion or when you want to visually confirm that you have advanced by only one frame.
The second number, just below the sequence number is the frame number is the time index of the current image.
Additionally, full speed playback in real-time is available from the "Play" button in the main toolbar. |
